Reflection
1. How many different species of plants and animals did you notice in the school yard?
Ans: For animals, there were not many species available in the school yard but we could sight many insects like spiders, grasshoppers, beetles and caterpillar. Coming to plants, there are a large variety of plants and trees like mango trees, tulsi plants and flowers like rose and ribiscus.
2. Did the school have green areas? If yes,which was the largest type of green area (tree cover, grass patch, garden with shrubs or other)?
Ans: The largest green area in our school was the ground infront of the higher secondary area of our school.
3. Which area in the school had the most diversity of species?
Ans: The place with the most diversity of species would be the higher secondary area of our school and also our school garden located around it.
4. Did you come across any plant that you were familiar with, that is either edible, medicinal or used for other domestic purpose?
Ans: Edible plants were mangoes, medicinal plants and plants for domestic use were tulsi.
5. Were there areas where you did not spot any animal or plant? Why do you think this
might have been?
Ans: The areas we did not spot any animal or plant would be the area of our school campus. The reason will be because of intervention
6. come across any animal staying in a home built by other animals? What is the major difference you saw between the homes built by animals and the homes we humans build?
Ans: We encountered rats during our survey and this was unexpected as the presence of rats poses as threat the the hygiene of the school's biodiversity

1. What kind of feelings did this activity bring about?
Ans: This activity made us feel more appreciative of nature and the components of nature that make it up.
2.How did it feel to spend time alone in nature?
Ans: Spending time with nature has made to resolute to try to spend at least a small time of our day with nature, be it by taking walks or meditating outside.
3. Describe your most pleasant and unpleasant experience.
Ans: The most pleasant experience was closing our eyes and taking in fresh breaths and hearing the birds chirp. The most unpleasant experience, though would be the mosquito coming right before dusk.
4.Do you think that the wild animals you have spotted so far use their senses the way you did? Which of the senses may be most useful?
Ans: The wild animals use these senses of theirs and some of them have more advanced senses than us humans which helps them to adapt to their environments.
5. Will you be interested in doing this activity again or encouraging friends and family to try it out?
Ans: This was therapeutic type of activity as it helped us spend time with nature and we definitely look forward to trying this again.
